Annapurna Interactive Announces "Ashen" Release For Multiple Platforms

This morning, Annapurna Interactive announced that it would officially be releasing Ashen on Steam, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch. The game originally came out in December 2018 for Xbox One as well as the Epic Games Store as an exclusive to PC at the time. Now it will be hitting all the other platforms for an unannounced date sometime in December 2019. You can read more about the game here.

Ashen is an action RPG about a wanderer in search of aplace to call home. This is a world where nothing lasts, nomatter how tightly players cling to it. At its core, Ashen isabout forging relationships; people players meet out in theworld will have unique skills and crafting abilities to bolsterchances of survival.

• PASSIVE MULTIPLAYER – People you meet out in the world are players with their ownagendas. It will be up to you to decide how to deal with them.

• NON-LINEAR PROGRESSION – No two games will ever be the same. This is a world thatmoves on without you. Simply being in a different place at a certain time will alter thestory in dramatic ways.

• OPEN WORLD EXPLORATION – Your settlement is nestled in the mountains, surroundedby handcrafted environments as far as the eye can see.

• HIGH RISK COMBAT- Each encounter, no matter how trivial seeming, has the potential toend in disaster. Knowing the land and being patient are some of the most valuableweapons available to a lone wanderer in Ashen. Sometimes it is best to turn and run.

• CREATURES – The creatures of Ashen include rare, lonely giants and hungry, twistedinhabitants of the night. Despite the perils of the darkness, life always finds a way. This isa land teeming with a diverse array of flora and fauna.

• THE TOWN – The town will be cobbled together from survivors you choose to bring toyour settlement. They might provide you with help ranging from blacksmithing toforaging expertise.
