Behaviour Interactive Announces "Game Of Thrones: Beyond The Wall"
We got a bit of a surprise announcement this morning from Behaviour Interactive and HBO as they've announced Game Of Thrones: Beyond The Wall. The developers of Deathgarden and Dead By Daylight have put together a mobile game based on the acclaimed series, which you can pre-register for on Google Play, the App Store, or the official website. The game is set to be released sometime in 2019, but no official date has been attached. As to the game itself, it appears you'll be dealing with events in Westeros prior to the events in the series, so you get a sort of prequel with everyone alive. You can check out more info about the Game Of Thrones: Beyond The Wall story below along with screenshots and a proper trailer.
The game's original narrative is set a few decades before the timeline of the hit TV show, just after Lord Commander Brynden Rivers (also known as Bloodraven and eventually as the Three-Eyed Raven), disappeared while ranging beyond the Wall. Players will also find an in-game interface that uses the mysterious powers of the Weirwood Trees to move through history and visit key moments in time. This feature allows players to collect different costumed versions of Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen, Jaime Lannister, Melisandre and Tormund Giantsbane across various game events and then use the characters in many gameplay modes, including combat – a first for a game in this genre.
