FACEIT to Host UK's Biggest Esports Tournament at SSE Arena Wembley

FACEIT has officially announced that it will be holding the largest esports event in the UK this September with the FACEIT London Major 2018 for CS:GO happening this September. Apart from the fact that this is one of the bigger tournaments on the CS:GO circuit with a prize of $1M prize pool on the line, the event will take place at the SSE Arena Wembley for a possible crowd of 12,000+ in attendance.

This tournament will officially be the thirteenth Major hosted by FACEIT, taking place from September 20th to the 23rd. Below is a brief quote about the event as well as the official trailer for the event. The company seems really hyped on the event and proud to be hosting it in their hometown, but whether or not it becomes a success rests on their promotion and the teams attending.

"The community has been at the heart of everything we do at FACEIT, and we're so grateful for the support of the players on our platform and those who've attended and watched ECS," said Michele Attisani, Chief Business Officer and Co-Founder of FACEIT. "We're excited to create an amazing celebration of CS:GO to honor that commitment. We look forward to seeing everyone there in September."
