Hasbro Mega Man Figure Coming In Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite Set
After being teased with it last week at E3, we have two gorgeous looks at what is sure to be an item that will fly off the shelves this fall. I honestly can't believe that we are getting a Capcom figure from Hasbro right now! This figure two-pack is going to be in support of the new Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite game coming out on September 19. The game looks awesome, and I have very high hopes for it, especially now! The game description, from the Capcom press release, might give us some hints for other figure packs as well:
The epic clash between two storied universes returns with Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, the next era of the highly revered action-fighting game series. Marvel and Capcom universes collide like never before as iconic characters team up for action-packed player-versus-player combat. Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is currently in development and will simultaneously release on the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, and Windows PC worldwide on September 19, 2017.
Imagined and created through a shared vision between the two companies, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will feature a variety of exciting and accessible single player modes and rich multi-player content for new players and longtime fans alike. In addition to single player Arcade, Training and Mission modes, a visually stunning and immersive cinematic Story Mode will put players at the center of both universes as they battle for survival against a sinister new threat, Ultron Sigma. Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is being built to highlight a combination of iconic locations and fan favorite characters from both universes, including Captain Marvel and Iron Man from the Marvel side, and Ryu and Mega Man X from Capcom.
I will take a Captain Marvel/Ryu set as well, please and thank you. The figures are 3 3/4 inch and are fully articulated. The Mega Man looks awesome, the blast effect piece is neat-looking, and the sculpt is pretty perfect. Iron Man looks like a repack of an earlier one, but they all kinda blend together at this point. The pack will run you $20 and is also exclusive to Target, so it may be tough to get your hands on. If I had to guess, I would say in will hit shelves either on September 19 or a little beforehand, since that is when the game comes out.
