The Kirby 25th Anniversary Stuff In Tokyo Is Too Adorkable To Ignore
Do you see the Kirby dolls sitting on these doughnuts!?! Sorry, it's bad to write on an empty stomach. Right now in Tokyo for the next week or so, Nintendo is celebrating Kirby's 25th Anniversary in a few different ways. You can find specialized Kirby merchandise marking the event as several pop-up shops, posters of Kirby in subway stations, vending machines filled with Kirby items, and even places where fans can take sticky notes and write messages to Kirby that will be hung on the walls. It makes me ask one big question of Nintendo… WHY ARE WE NOT DOING THIS HERE?!?!?!?!?! I so want a Kirby plushie, Kirby sucker, Kirby piggy-bank, and Kirby couch pillow in my house right now. I will donate blood to get the money, just bring this to the U.S., it's too adorkable to ignore.
You can check out more of these photos courtesy of Eigotaku, who is currently blogging about everything he finds during the event and making us wish we had a couple free days to go to Japan right now!
