Moving Out 2 Receives An Official August Release Date

After getting an announcement trailer during Summer Game Fest, Team17 has officially given Moving Out 2 a proper release date.

Team17, along with SMG Studio and Devm Games, revealed the official release date for Moving Out 2 after being announced this month. The sequel to the awesome moving game took a lot of people by surprise when it appeared in the middle of the Summer Game Fest presentation, which a lot of us assumed meant we might not be seeing it for several months to a year. But that all changed this week when the devs announced it would be released on August 15, 2023. We got more info on the game below and the latest trailer for you to enjoy!

"Moving Out 2 is the wacky sequel to the world-famous physics-based moving simulator. Working as a solo F.A.R.T, or with up to three friends, slip into your Smooth Moves uniform and help the residents of Packmore, and beyond, to pack up and ship out! Friends who move together, groove together! Whether you fancy some local co-op action or a cross-play online multiplayer session, we've got you signed, sealed, and delivered! We're not in Packmore anymore… Via inter-dimensional portals you will explore new worlds filled with hilariously silly challenges and chaotic, rib-tickling action. Moving Out 2 features an entirely new cast of extra lovable characters because Smooth Moves have signed up some new F.A.R.T recruits! Not to worry though, Rye Yu and Sidney are still on the payroll."

  • Location, location, location: Travel the multiverse and overcome new levels and puzzles that pit F.A.R.Ts with their biggest removals challenge yet.
  • Co-op Continued: Players can either take on Moving Out 2 solo or with friends (or enemies) in both couch and cross-play enabled online co-op.
  • Assist mode: Movers of all abilities are welcome in Packmore; with Assist Mode, the possibilities (and fun) are endless, and inclusive!
  • Zany characters: Featuring a whole new host of smooth movers, Moving Out 2 showcases entirely new characters that will both enchant and horrify.
