Sea of Thieves Will Be Getting Competitive with "The Arena"

Sea Of Thieves will be turning up the heat in the waters in 2019, as Rare debuted a new trailer for their upcoming competitive mode, The Arena. The trailer was shown at XO18 and then shortly released online, it doesn't show a lot from the in-game action, but what you do see is pretty insane. It appears four teams will battle it out at both sea fights and land grabs to find the most treasure. We're pretty sure this will be the divining rod that shows what teams are actually awesome at the game and who's been having an easy time because they weren't put in direct competition with anyone up until now. Hopefully, we'll see more and get a proper release date for the expansion before year's end.
