Stage One Finalists For Esports Industry Awards To Be Announced On Twitch
Tonight on Twitch, if you're obsessed with eSports in every aspect and feel those involved deserve more recognition that they get, you're about to have that wish come true. The 2017 Esports Industry Awards will be announcing Stage One finalists for the following awards below, being broadcast at 9pm BST (1pm PDT, 4pm EDT in the states). This is the company's second year in creating an awards show, and partnering with Twitch seems like an easy effort considering the genre. We've also included a quote from Tom Mercey, Director and Co-founder of EIA on the event tonight.

"We've been absolutely amazed by the level of support for the awards this year – we have more sponsors and partners, from across all areas of gaming and entertainment, than ever before but most incredible has been the support of the esports fans. … Already, for only our first stage of nominations, we've received over 10,000 nominations which more than doubles the number we received for the whole of last year's awards".
