Team Ninja Boasts Nioh Selling Over 2 Million Copies

Nioh has been one of those games that caught a lot of people off guard with how the game worked and the history and story going into it. At the time, it was blowing game reviewers away and showed that both Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo had a major hit on their hands in 2017. This week, Team Ninja took to their Twitter to brag about the game's success, boasting that it had sold over 2 million copies worldwide.

After the game came out on Steam, there wasn't much left to say about the game. DLC updates have dropped since then, meaning that the game has probably reached its last milestone for a while unless the devs come up with some new content to attract fresh eyes. It's a pretty good run for Nioh, and everyone involved should take pride in the accomplishment. But now comes the fun conversation of if and when the company will make a sequel. We're guessing they will, because why not capitalize on that?
