The Latest Firmware Update For The Nintendo Switch Brings Video Capture
Today, Nintendo threw out their latest firmware update for the Nintendo Switch, 4.0.0. The key element behind the update is one people have been waiting to see from the console since launch, and that's the ability to do video capture. Sadly, fans are going to be disappointed when they learn it only works on four games: Arms, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Splatoon 2. What's more, it only captures the last 30 seconds of gameplay, so no long clips. The complete firmware updates are below for you to check out.
Improvements Included in Version 4.0.0
- Video capture for select games.
- New profile icons featuring characters from the Super Mario Odyssey game and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild game.
- Transfer user profiles and save data to another system.
- Pre-purchase option is available for certain games on Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch.
