Cyberpunk 2077 Is Going To Be "Far, Far Bigger" Than Anything CD Projekt RED Has Done

The Witcher 3 is an absolutely massive game, that has easily several hundred hours of content in it. It's size is almost intimidating, but ensures you are never lost for something to do or discover in the world.

Well, CD Projekt RED's next game, the elusive Cyberpunk 2077, is going to be even bigger. By a lot. Speaking to MCV, visual effects artist Jose Teixeira revealed that the game is going to be humongous, and that development experience of the Witcher 3 is going to help a lot.

Cyberpunk is far bigger than anything else that CD Projekt Red has done before. Far, far bigger.

We're really stepping into the unknown in terms of complexity and size and problems we encounter.

He later added:

The Witcher helped Cyberpunk quite a bit, because the game got so big and so complex that it really taught us. We really didn't know what was going to happen.

If anything, working on The Witcher 3 was a really good and often brutal learning experience. Cyberpunk is going to benefit greatly from it. I can almost guarantee it.

A game that is much bigger than the Witcher 3? That has sent my head spinning a little. I hope the developer continues to maintain the quality if that is the case.
