Twitch Has Beaten Dark Souls
I've been following Twitch plays Dark Souls for a while now. The idea of a community coming together and besting one of the most notorious modern games sounded like a recipe for disaster. It was for the first few days too, until admin stepped in and put the game on a pausing system.
That did the trick as now Twitch has indeed beaten the game. Last night the stream toppled the final boss, proving that if you come together, you really can… beat Gwyn, Lord of Cinder. Kotaku are saying that the game took 43 days, eight hours, 14 minutes, and 23 seconds with 903 deaths befalling the onscreen avatar.
But hey, it is not over. The stream is now trying to take on Dark Souls 2, so go join in, if you are into that kind of thing.
