Indie game developer and publisher Egosoft revealed that X4: Foundations is getting an update with 7.00, and a major expansion called X4: Timelines. The content will bring about a major shift in the game as you'll be getting a new mysterious storyline, brand new scenarios, reimagined ships, an overhaul of the mechanics, a ton of improvements to the game, and more.
