"A Love Letter To Science" – Ridley Scott, Matt Damon And NASA Talk About The Martian

The Martian director Ridley Scott and star Matt Damon sat down with NASA and Jet Propulsion Laboratory to do a Q&A about the film. Also on hand was astronaut Drew Feustel to talk about what the original book meant to him and his co-worker and author Andy Weir talking about the amazing journey from sitting down to write the first words to talking about it as a major motion picture.The other gentleman on the panel is Jim Green, the director of NASA's Planetary Science Division and who hopes to put astronauts on Mars by the 2030s.

The Martian opens October 2nd.
