Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Octavia Spencer Join the Cast of Pixar's Onward

The voice cast for the next Pixar movie is starting to take shape. Pixar has had a great 2018 with The Incredibles 2 bringing in a huge worldwide box office of $1.2 billion and is the fourth biggest movie of the year. They are looking to have a pretty solid 2019 as well with Toy Story 4 already starting its marketing campaign. This is an animated movie so it's time to look even further toward the future.

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed the first four cast members for Onward from Monster's University director Dan Scanlon and producer Kori Rae. The cast will include Marvel regulars Chris Pratt and Tom Holland along with Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Octavia Spencer. The movie is being described as taking place " in a suburban fantasy world. It centers on two teen elf brothers who go on a quest to discover if there is still magic left in the world." At the moment there aren't any other details including which roles the four actors will voice.

The movie currently has a March 6, 2020 release date and we can expect some new details about the production to emerge sometime toward the end of 2019. Frozen 2 has a November 22, 2019 release date and that would be a perfect time to drop a trailer with maybe a teaser attached to the June 21, 2019 release of Toy Story 4.
