D23 Parks And Resorts Panel: Star Wars Galaxy's Edge Details Emerge

Bob Chapek, Chairman of Disney Parks and Resorts, took to the stage this afternoon to announce some big things. First up is Star Wars Land, where you can fly the Millennium Falcon (where your actions will decide the outcome of each ride), and another ride will take you in the middle of the action.  The official name is "Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge", and the land will be open May of 2019. Lot's of character meet and greets will be there, including BB8 and Chewbacca, Kylo Ren, and Rex from Star Tours! Boba Fett was hinted as a character as well, and the famous cantina  will be a part of the world as well. Many of the characters you can already meet in the various parks. But it looks to be a totally immersive universe, and I am thrilled to see it.
