Donald Trump Tweets Campaign Trailer Set to Hans Zimmer's Batman Score, Prompting Backlash
In the latest evidence that human consciousness was a terrible screw-up and God really ought to just flood the hell out of this place and start over with sentient fish as the dominant life form of the planet, President Donald Trump today tweeted a video promoting his 2020 re-election campaign set to a score taken from the 2012 film The Dark Knight Rises, prompting copyright holders Warner Bros to file a copyright complaint against him, according to a report from Buzzfeed.
"First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they call you a racist. Your vote proved them all wrong, " the video proclaims while showing clips of Trump owning the libs by meeting with Korean dictator Kim Jong Un and holding large campaign rallies. It then ends with "Trump 2020" just as the music reaches its crescendo. Watch it below.

If you're wondering how such a critical oversight as failing to secure the rights to the music for this campaign video could have happened, you've made the critical error of not guessing from the start that Trump simply lifted the video from something an internet troll posted on Reddit's /r/TheDonald forum. The original video belongs to a YouTube channel called Matey Productions, which seems to be in the business of making other videos basically just like this praising the president and trolling his enemies.
Thus far, the video remains online despite whatever complaints Warner Bros may or may not have filed, so Twitter has either ignored those complaints or deemed that, hey, this guy could nuke San Francisco if he really felt like it, so just let him do whatever he wants. Or maybe they figure, since Warner Bros used Trump Tower for Wayne Enterprises in Dark Knight Rises, Batman and Donald Trump are basically the same person anyway. Whatever the case, we'll just remind you that the 2020 election cycle is just getting started and we're in for another 18 months of an ever-escalating hellish nightmare, so strap on your helmet and get ready for more of this @#$%show, endlessly, forever.
