Echo Bridge Studios Announces New Animated Short Film 'Ambition'

Earlier this month, the award-winning animation studio Echo Bridge Pictures (Axe Cop, Major Lazer, Hustlers Convention) announced plans to release a new animated short film titled "Ambition." The film will be a hand drawn, 17-minute experimental short, and will tell the story of a young entrepreneur who finds that the closer he reaches to his dreams of success, the more nightmarish his life becomes. As director and producer Esteban Valdez explains, "The film is a visual poem about debt and how it feels to be trapped by it. In this surreal narrative, everything and everyone represents an aspect of desire or ambition. An intriguing, elegant, and intelligent film, "Ambition" is a modern tale that evokes the question, "How far will we go to get what we want?""
