Jared Leto's Joker Gets Award Nomination

Jared Leto is channelling his…colourful version of the Joker to accept his nomination to the Best Villain category of the MTV Movie Awards.

Joker, who of course wasn't the main antagonist of Suicide Squad, or in fact the only villain as the entire team is made of villains, had a relatively small part in the movie in which he appeared, and whilst the character himself is iconic, was Leto's performance in the role strong enough to qualify winning an actual award?

We shall see. Competition comes from other villains of film and TV, such as Allison Williams for Get Out, Jeffrey Dean Morgan for The Walking Dead, Wes Bentley for American Horror Story: Roanoke and also the Demogorgon in Stranger Things…not the animators or performance capture artist or anything, but the actual fictional character, it would seem.

Personally, my money's on Negan.
