Didn't Like The First Marvel's Inhumans Trailer? Neither Did The Director
The first Marvel's Inhumans trailer was released over a month ago, and it didn't really get fans excited. If you were one of those who though poorly of the trailer, don't feel bad. The director, Roel Reine, didn't like it much, either.
In the video below, he talks about how he felt the special effects weren't ready and explained how he has no control over the marketing of the series. He is much happier with the second trailer that came out for San Diego Comic-Con and believes that the fans are much happier, as well.
He told Metro.co.uk about the mixed reaction:
"I was mixed about the first trailer as well. I felt like it didn't give you the scope, it didn't give you a lot of secrets or visual effects. I felt it was a little bit too early because the visual effects were not ready – Medusa's hair was not ready. So I was really nervous about it and would think the fans would not really like it."
His biggest complaint was that Medusa's hair was still being worked on. Below you can see the first and second trailers if you haven't already. I have to admit, the first trailer didn't do much for me, but the second made me start looking forward to the series.
Marvel's Inhumans will debut in IMAX theaters on September 1st and then on ABC September 29th.
