Guillermo Del Toro Talks Justice League Dark And He Will Be Watching Constantine

JLDIn an interview with IGN, Guillermo Del Toro at Comic Con, the director was asked by Facebook user Edward Meade if he would he consider doing Justice League Dark on TV or Netflix.

"Right now the plan is to make it a feature, we are deep in the screenplay writing phase. We see eye-to-eye… Warner, DC and myself on what the movie is. It would be really well served as a movie and then you can expand it. The characters are so great. I am literally having fun with the characters I most love because they are all monsters or supernatural. Demon, Deadman, Swamp Thing, Zatanna, Constantine, The Floronic Man and many others."

When asked about the new Constantine TV series and that the Spectre may appear on it:

"I love the Spectre, would love to have him in it but I don't have him. He's a badass. To me, film was…without a doubt to develop the movie, because I get to have fun. I would love to have the Spectre in it. He's one of the most beyond moral character in [the DC Universe] and he does crazy things. Like they're doing that with Constantine. The only thing I may have cleared to them is that the TV series won't effect movie. They said that's ok.  They said you can have independence. Now when we see the series if we could mesh with it [the TV series] and keep the same actor depending on how the movie was going, I would be happy to consider that. "

He also says that he will be watching the new Constantine series as a fan first of all.
