Listen To The Skyfall Theme Tune Now
You'll have to wait until this Friday to hear the full version, but here's 89 seconds of the opening theme tune for the latest James Bond film, Skyfall. I'm no music expert, but this sounds like both classic Bond and classic Adele, with a quiet piano opening building up to a powerful orchestral chorus. You don't have to take my word for it, though; listen to the preview below.
If you want to sing along, here are the lyrics:
This is the end
Hold your breath and count to ten
Feel the Earth move and then
Hear my heart burst again.
For this is the end
I've drowned and dreamt this moment
So overdue (this line is tricky, but it sounds like she's saying 'I'm Odin'. Fair enough)
Swept away, I'm stolen
Let the sky fall
When it crumbles
We will stand tall and face it all together
As the sky falls
Update: Unfortunately, the clip now seems to have been removed. Congratulations to all those who got in there quick enough to hear it. If you didn't, then don't fret; the full track will be officially released on Friday.
