Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain's Release Date To Be Announced Soon
I've been talking about Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain for years now, as the title has been in open development for a while. Ground Zeroes was obviously the first bite-sized part of the title, but we are still pretty much in the dark about when the next game in the franchise is getting released.
The wait to find out how long we have to wait is nearly over though. Speaking on the weekly, Japanese webshow Kojima Station (translated BY Gematsu), a spokeperson said:
I know you've all been eagerly await for word on releasing timing. I think we should be able to announce that soon, so look forward to that. It's only a little longer.
The title is set to appear at the Taipei Game Show on January 31st. It seem likely that is when the date will drop.
My hope is that the release date is for Christmas this year. My reason dictates it might not be until well into 2016.
