Mirror's Edge 2 Will Be Released In Early 2016

Mirror's Edge was a really neat experiment. I think it had fatal problems, but there was clearly something to the way that game worked that still makes it an appealing prospect. That's why I have high hopes for Mirror's Edge 2.

Up until now though, we've only seen tiny snippets of the game. That will no doubt change pretty soon. In EA's quarterly financial presentation, there is reference to the game launching in Early 2016. That means we will likely see a whole bunch of it at E3 this year.

Unlike last year, EA seems to have a lot of stuff going on this year, what with Battlefront, Mirror's Edge 2 and possibly Mass Effect 4 as showcases for the company. I'll be out in the audience likely live blogging their press conference, so keep June 15th in your diary.
