Oscar Nominated Producer Played Uncharted 4 Recently And Loved It
It turns out that despite getting delayed into 2016 recently, Uncharted 4 is at least partially in a playable state. This isn't really surprising of course as the game has been in production for a long time, but it seems it's in good enough shape to let outsiders get hands on with it.
How do we know this? Because Annapurna producer Megan Ellison (American Hustle, Zero Dark Thirty, Her) tweeted about her experience with the game. She had glowing praise too:
Just left @Naughty_Dog where I got to play a little UNCHARTED 4. Gorgeous gameplay. Epic worlds. I cannot wait for full immersion next year.

Now, why was Ellison playing the game? That's not clear. As far as I know, her company isn't producing any of Naughty Dog's movie adaptions. Perhaps she's working on something with The Last of Us director Neil Druckmann or she could just be a gamer who is a friend of the studio. Who knows?
This is great news though as it lets us know how the game is progressing. We may not see it until 2016, but it is apparently in good shape early.
