The Punisher's Jon Bernthal Wishes Service Members A Happy Veterans Day
There were a lot of people who thought there was a good chance that The Punisher would come out yesterday, because Frank Castle is a veteran and today is Veterans Day. That ended up not being the case, but that hasn't stopped star Jon Bernthal from wishing those in the armed services a happy Veterans Day in a sweet little video posted to the official Punisher Twitter account.
Bernthal also recently did an interview where he talks about playing several service members throughout his career. He says one the benefits of that is that he's had the opportunity to talk to veterans from several major conflicts and considers some of them his good friends now.
Summary: After the murder of his family, Frank Castle becomes a vigilante known as "the Punisher", who aims to fight crime by any means necessary.
The Punisher, from showrunner Steve Lightfoot, stars Jon Bernthal, Jason R. Moore, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Michael Nathanson, Jamie Ray Newman, and Amber Rose Revah. It will stream to Netflix on November 17th.
