Robin Lord Taylor Talks The Now Sane Penguin And Working With Paul Reubens

A new featurette released by Fox focuses on the recent changes to Oswald Cobblepot on the second season of Gotham. The series focused on growing Oswald's character from one of Fish Mooney's henchmen into the classic Batman villain, The Penguin. But with the shows return from the mid-season break, Oswald has been transformed thanks to his stay at Arkham Asylum and Dr. Hugo Strange. The former killer now has a clean bill of mental health and seems to be docile and at peace. He's also discovered his father and has a new family to be part of… or so it appears.

Robin Lord Taylor talks about playing this new version of Oswald and what it means for the character in the long run. He also talks about working with actor Paul Reubens and how he wants people to see that Reubens is so much more than the Peewee Herman character he became famous for. This is not Reubens' first trip into the Batman universe, he also played the Penguin's father in the Tim Burton directed Batman Returns.

Gotham airs Monday's at 8 PM on Fox.
