No Spoilers For Star Wars: The Last Jedi In The Toys
We live in a world of spoilers. The world of social media always seems to spoil movies and television for all of us. The only thing worse at spoiling movies these days than social media is merchandise. As flocks of Star Wars fans raced off to stores to buy tons and tons of toys for Star Wars: The Last Jedi some were worried the merchandise would spoil the movie. Well, you don't need to worry about spoilers from the toys sitting on the shelves in your local store according to director Rian Johnson
It's good that Johnson is looking out for fans who don't want to be spoiled just because they walked through the LEGO isle at a Walmart. As fans become more and more paranoid about spoilers, it seems like the directors are doing their best to help them. James Gunn said that the trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was almost all from the first and beginning of the second act, for example.
So, Star Wars nerds, you don't need to run through Target or Walmart with your hands covering your eyes to avoid spoilers. According to Rian Johnson, unless you're avoiding visual spoilers too which in that case more power to you and good luck, you're going to be fine.
Summary: Having taken her first steps into a larger world in Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), Rey continues her epic journey with Finn, Poe and Luke Skywalker in the next chapter of the saga.
