The Shannara Chronicles Season 2: Wil Learns The Truth About His Father

Tonight we get the second episode of The Shannara Chronicles season 2 and here we have a third clip. Wil (Austin Butler) is reunited with his Uncle Flick (Mark Mitchinson) who we haven't seen since the series premiere. He told Wil at the time that he should throw away the Elfstones, that they had driven Wil's father insane. Now Flick tells the truth. When Allanon (Manu Bennett) had come for Shea, Flick went as well and helped with battling the Warlock Lord. He lied about what happened to Shea, saying now that it was his regret at not embracing his destiny that killed him. He tells Wil to keep the Elfstones, pushing Wil to fulfill his own destiny.

The conversation takes place after the Crimson had attacked the village where Wil grew up. General Riga (Desmond Chiam) and his men are hunting magic users and specifically went there look for Wil. The conversation takes place around a camp fire where Wil's new acquaintance, Mareth (Malese Jow) is supposed to be sleeping. But the woman who claims to be Allanon's daughter is awake and listening to the story. There is a lot more going on with her than we've seen so far.

The Shannara Chronicles, season 2 episode 2: Wraith, airs tonight at 9 PM on Spike.
