Would You Invest In Dirty White Gold?

Friend of Bleeding Cool, Leah Borromeo is making a documentary about why around twenty-six Indian cotton farmers are committing suicide every day to get out of debt. But as well as interviewing participants across the country, Leah has what they call "a naughty plan" in which she states "instead of one of those films that moans about the miserable state of the world, we're going to try to do something about it. We're going to see if we can make ethics and sustainability the norm in the fashion industry."

Changing the world with a documentary. If there's one thing I've learned is that when Leah wants to do something, she has a better chance of succeeding than most.

She's looking for social funding to raise money to finish the film. I'm in. Are you?
