Yesterday, DC Comics filed to register the Superman 'S' symbol as a trademark for belt buckles.
It looks as if someone might have been going through their trademark on the symbol in recent days for… some unknown reason… and found it it was lacking in their paperwork.
But not only that, it's also filed paperwork to register[...]
And from DC's perspective, they are a break with the past, a chance to prove that they can do something new, be something new They aren't coming back – outside of the upcoming Band Aid project, that is.
