Asuka Continues Her Winning Streak – Could She Dethrone Alexa Bliss at WrestleMania?
Asuka has had an impressive win streak — one that goes back to her NXT days. After announcing her intent on entering the women's Royal Rumble match and her interest in the Raw Women's Title, Alexa Bliss has been looking over her shoulder.
Bliss spent the start of the match outside the ring, figuring her opponent out. Bliss is an exceptional athlete, and Asuka brought that out in her. This match was dynamic and exciting, with both women giving it their all against each other.
The two managed to put each other into some impressive submission holds, but to no avail. Bliss really brought her A-game, and Asuka is always ready for a good fight.
In the end, Asuka continued her winning streak. Could she dethrone Bliss at WrestleMania? I think it's certainly possible, as long as creative just allows Asuka to do her thing. Too many storylines will weigh her down (as they do most superstars) and will take the focus away from how much of a powerhouse she is. If anything, I'm certainly ready for Asuka's reign.
