Bat-Boy Will Emerge From Cave for the Last Time Ever… Tonight
It's been a while since we've heard rumors of Bat Boy, hero of the night. My sources tell me Bat Boy will be making his last ever appearance tonight, in a special broadcast that has been getting a lot of press of late.
Sadly, my imagination got the better of me, and I began this report with the wrong Bat Boy. Tonight, FOX will broadcast the last ever episode of Gotham, featuring this Bat Boy, who might just be making his debut as a Bat MAN.
It's been a pretty uneven final season for Gotham, but that doesn't mean it hasn't been entertaining- even at it's absolute worst Gotham still manages to be absurdly entertaining!
But when it goes big, Gotham can rival some of the best entertainment in the DC universe: Jeremiah Valeska (Cameron Monaghan) blowing up all the bridges into Gotham City; Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) tricking his step-mother into eating her children; Riddler's (Cory Michael Smith) multiple attempts to take over Gotham.
And pretty much anything with Professor Pyg. His entire run is pure nightmare fuel.
Tonight, we're being treated to "The Beginning", an apt name for a final episode. Showrunners Bruno Heller and Danny Cannon have said from the start of production that Gotham would end when Bruce put on the cowl, and previews for tonight's episode show a pretty distinctive cowl in action.
What else will happen tonight? What other villains will make a play at running Gotham City? We already know that the Joker, Catwoman, Penguin, and Riddler are on board, but how about Scarecrow? Will Mister Freeze try to chill everyone out?
Will the actual Bat Boy show up?
I guess we'll have our answers sooner than later! Check your local listings for "The Beginning", and check back here later tonight for the official Bleeding Cool review!
