LeBron James is stepping up to produce even more television. This time with with Gabrielle Union.

The duo will team-up to produce a new comedy series for ABC titled White Dave. It will be a single-camera series would follow a young African-American teenager who has grown up in an all-white suburb who suddenly moves to an all-black neighborhood when his mom remarries.

James will executive produce with his production company Springhill Productions. His childhood friend and producing partner Maverick Carter will co-produce along with Union. This is LeBron's forth show, following in the footsteps of his game show The Wall, his recently wrapped Starz show Survivor's Remorse, and the in development untitled sneaker culture show set up at HBO.

Union is currently starring in the BET series Being Mary Jane. That is also wrapping next year after aring on the network for four season with a two-hour movie on the network in 2018. Could that mean Union will star in this series? I'm guessing that could be the case. Only time will tell. She would be a great choice, I have always enjoyed her work. She is also in a relationship with LeBron's best friend Dwyane Wade, so there is a connection there as well.

White Dave is in active development through Warner Bros. television.
