Victor Garber

It'd been known for a while that Victor Garber was leaving Legends of Tomorrow to return to the Broadway stage in a run of Hello, Dolly!. And while they tried to sell it as he was going to retire to spend time with his family including a new grandson, the final result was much more dramatic and tragic. Now that the crossover has aired, the CW has released a video addressing the death of Professor Martin Stein and Garber gets a chance to talk about playing one half of Firestorm and working in genre he didn't even know existed. He talks about meeting fans of the show and signing autographs for young viewers. He calls it humbling and sweet. He also talks about working with actor Franz Drameh who plays Jefferson Jackson, the other half of Firestorm. He calls Franz a terrific actor and speak on how he loves the father/son and brotherly relationship they had on the series.

Garber has been a regular on television for over four decades including roles on The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd, Alias, Justice, Charlie's Angels, The Slap and Power. He has also appeared on the new Fox series The Orville. In 2008-2009 he appeared as a regular on the series Eli Stone that was created by Arrowverse architects Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim. The series also including Tom Cavanagh (Harrison Wells on the Flash), Tom Amandes (The Calculator on Arrow), Laura Benanti (Allura on Supergirl) and Matt Letscher (Eobard Thawne on Flash and Legends). It also featured single episode appearances by Jamey Sheridan (Robert Queen on Arrow) and Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin Snow on Flash). Might have to print out the cast list for the series and see who might be cast next.

DC's Legends of Tomorrow airs Tuesdays at 9 PM on the CW.
