Legends of Tomorrow Season 5: Jes Macallan To Return as a Series Regular
Legends of Tomorrow has been missing in action since December but that doesn't mean the show isn't coming back. The second part of season four is set to begin on April 1st and the show was picked up for a fifth season at the end of January. We haven't heard anything about the show since but now we know that one cast member is set to return for another season. According to Deadline Jes Macallan who plays Ava will be back.
Macallan was brought on as a series regular for season four but the contract she signed was only for one year. It's nice to see that the CW sees value in Ava's character who has only become more interesting the more they develop her. Her relationship with Sara Lance is the heart of the show and she is one of the main reason any subplot at the Time Bureau is interesting. We guess this means that Ava is surviving to the end of the season but this is a show about time travel so who knows.
Summary: Time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter has to recruit a rag-tag team of heroes and villains to help prevent an apocalypse that could impact not only Earth, but all of time.
Legends of Tomorrow, created by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, and Phil Klemmer, stars Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Tala Ashe, Jes Macallan, Matt Ryan, and Courtney Ford. It will return on April 1st on the CW.
