Lucifer Season 3: Lucifer Digs Up an Old Soul to Help Marcus
With the introduction of Marcus Pierce (Tom Welling) in Lucifer season 3, Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) ended up with a new goal: finding a way for Marcus to die. If you're not caught up on the latest on the Fox series, why are you here reading spoiler-filled articles? Go watch the show. And if you are caught up, then you know that Marcus is actually Cain, the first murderer. After killing his brother, Abel, Cain was cursed to walk the Earth forever. Now he's come to Lucifer to help him end the curse. The last episode ended with Lucifer running off to get a chainsaw.

In an upcoming episode, according to TVLine, Lucifer will be bopping back down to hell to pick up a soul. The person in question, Abel himself. They idea being to bring him back up and reverse the curse. Not sure when that particular episode will air, but next week features Marcus trying to get Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) to kill him and the episode is called My Brother's Keeper. That being a line from the bible, Genesis 4:9… Then the LORD said to Cain, "Where is Abel your brother?" He said, "I do not know; am I my brother's keeper?" So that would seem like a pretty good time to have Abel show up.
Lucifer season 3 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on Fox.
