Rick and Morty Sets May Return to UK's E4; Harley Quinn Joining Them

Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland's Rick and Morty is set to return to Adult Swim with the five-episode, second-half of season 4 on Sunday, May 3, but its interdimensional world tour doesn't stop there. Our destructive duo is set to return to the UK's E4 on Thursday, May 7, and when they do? They're bringing Warner Bros. Animation's hit DC Universe comedy Harley Quinn with them. Voiced by executive producer Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory), the series finds Harley striking out on her own and looking to start her own crew. Her goal: a set at the table as a member of the Legion of Doom. Rick and Morty and Harley Quinn launch on E4 on May 7 at 10 pm and 10.30 pm, respectively.

Adult Swim treated viewers to a trailer for the midseason return earlier this month, and we've had a seas of question rambling around in our brains ever since. With Snowball returning, will Rick and Morty need to help him fend off a feline invasion? Is there some off-shoot of the Galactic Federation still active (think recent Star Wars trilogy for reference), and backing the cats in their canine conflict? The laser sword fight between Beth and Tammy seems to lean that way, but you can never trust how trailer edits can mess with our heads. We're not completely sure if the backgrounds match up. With Tammy making her presence known, does that mean a Phoenixperson sighting isn't too far behind? Will any of this put our pair another step closer to Evil Morty? Following the trailer, hang out for a look at the episodes titles for the remainder of the season (with points and much appreciation for the Terminator homage in the announcement video):

  • Season 4, Episode 6 "Never Ricking Morty"
  • Season 4, Episode 7 "Promortyus": Get off my face, broh
  • Season 4, Episode 8 "The Vat of Acid Episode": The one with the acid vat, broth.
  • Season 4, Episode 9 "Childrick of Mort": Miracle of life, broh. Whole family in this one, broh.
  • Season 4, Episode 10 "Star Mort Rickturn of the Jerri": Parenting is crazy, broh. Stuff straight disappearin in this one.
