The Witcher Season 2: Did Lauren S. Hissrich Just Hint at Unicorns?
With it now a month before production on the second season of Netflix's The Witcher is set to resume in the U.K. (fingers crossed, with the focus on health and safety first), we thought we'd check in on series showrunner and executive producer Lauren S. Hissrich to see what she's been up to on social media. Last time we checked in, she was coming to the end of her quarantine time overseas (and slaying a Twitter "troll" who didn't understand the concept of basic human decency and empathy).
Now, Hissrich is taking to social media to offer a fun, friendly "warning" about the second season to those who thought the first season was "inspired fits of lunacy": you ain't seen nothing yet. Check out that emoji at the end of the post: are we getting unicorns aka one-horns? And will they be "just" unicorns (weird to write that) or the kind referenced here? Time to throw another log onto the "Dumpster Fire of Speculation":
Netflix's The Witcher season 2 welcomes Kristofer Hivju (Game of Thrones) as Nivellen, Kim Bodnia (Killing Eve) as Vesemir, Yasen Atour (Young Wallender) as Coen, Agnes Bjorn as Vereena, Paul Bullion (Peaky Blinders) as Lambert, Thue Ersted Rasmussen (Fast and Furious 9) as Eskel, Aisha Fabienne Ross (The Danish Girl) as Lydia, and newcomer Mecia Simson as Francesca.
