Thunder Rosa vs Britt Baker in a Cage Set for St. Patrick's Day Slam

Thunder Rosa may have come up short against Britt Baker at Revolution, but she'll get another shot next week at AEW Dynamite: St. Patrick's Day Slam. And this time, it will be much harder for Baker's lackeys, Rebel and Jamie Hayter, to interfere, because the match will take place inside a steel cage! Not only that, but it will be in San Antonio, Rosa's hometown.

Rosa was emotional after defeating Leyla Hirsch on Dynamite to become the number one contender once again. Baker, however, was unimpressed.

Dr. Baker has had a good run with the AEW Women's World Championship, but most fans seem to be ready for her to drop the belt, and even expressed animosity toward AEW for not booking the title change for Revolution. Those fans, however, are getting worked, and it will make it that much more cathartic when Rosa finally wins the big one in her hometown next week (assuming, of course, that's what happens). It will also bring things full circle as last year's St. Patrick's Day Slam was where Rosa defeated Baker in a bloody Lights Out match, forming the basis of their year-long rivalry. Like last time, next week's match seems likely to main event the show again.
