Tony Lee To Write The Future Of Robin Hood As A Movie
Tony Lee already has one successful stint writing Robin Hood in the comic The Outlaw: The Legend Of Robin Hood.
Now he's doing the same for the movies. But in the future.
He's writing a future sci-fi Robin Hood screenplay for the production house The Hollywood Gang (300, Immortals), replacing both screenwriters Jason Dean Hall (American Sniper) and Michael Ross (The Throwaways).
Tony Lee is best known in comics for his long run on IDW's Doctor Who series, but has also worked on X-Men and Spider-Man comics, Battlestar Galactica, Starship Troopers and MacGuyver as well as his own series, Hope Falls, The Gloom, The Baker Street Irregulars and Harker.
THR reports the film is described as set in a "dystopian London with a rogue MI5 agent on a mission to avenge injustice" and has previously been called Robin Hood 2058.
