Comics People Post #MeToo

Yesterday the actor Alyssa Milano tweeted the following, in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein stories that have been filling the media. Because the problem is far more than one man.  And the hashtag #MeToo was born.

At the time of writing her tweet has had almost 50,000 comments, 17,000 retweets and 35,000 likes. At the time of posting it will likely be higher. Here are some of the public tweets and Facebook comments made by people in the comics community.

This is just a small fraction of those who have chosen to say something. Many choose not to. I could add #metoo myself, but for me it has been rare and occasional. I don't have to expect it, plan for it, avoid it every day. And most women do.

#MeToo
