After Harley Quinn #31's Shocking Spoiler, Details Of Conner And Palmiotti's Final Issues Change
The final two issues of Jimmy Palmiotti and Amanda Conner's Harley Quinn have had their details changed a little, in the wake of the final page cliffhanger in today's Harley Quinn #31. So, you know, spoilers.
This is how the books were solicited:
HARLEY QUINN #33
Written by AMANDA CONNER and JIMMY PALMIOTTI
Art by JOHN TIMMS
Backup story art by MIRKA ANDOLFO
Retailers: This issue will ship with two covers. Please see the order form for details.
"Aftermath" part two! We said the election would change Harley's life forever, and we weren't kidding! For one of the people closest to her…it's ended their life! And in the "Secret Origins" backup story, you'll learn how the incredible Eggy came to be the man…err, egg…he is today!
HARLEY QUINN #34
Written by JIMMY PALMIOTTI and AMANDA CONNER
Art by JOHN TIMMS
Backup story art by BRET BLEVINS
Retailers: This issue will ship with two covers. Please see the order form for details.
"Gossamer"! Look, we know Harley's crossed paths with some ridiculous guest stars…but we assure you, this is the looniest one yet! And in the "Secret Origins" backup, see where Harley's most steadfast companion and tenant, Big Tony, comes from—and why he sticks by the side of his insane (but very charming) landlord!
The first originally drawn by John Timms and a backup story by Mirka Andolfo, and the second by Timms with a backup by Bret Blevins. Now things have changed; Blevins draws the first issue solo with no backup and Chad Hardin returns with John Timm for the second issue, again with no backup.
And the new solicits reflect today's issue. The final scene sees Harley Quinn's boyfriend kidnapped in an act of revenge on behalf of the ex-mayor, and shot in the head. A real fridging situation. And now, as Conner and Palmiotti say bye-bye, it's time to reveal the true new solicitations for their final issues, and pencils for Frank Cho's cover…

"THE MOURNING AFTER!" Reeling from the death of her boyfriend Mason Macabre, Harley desperately needs something, anything else to think about — and deliverance has arrived on Coney Island's beach, in the form of a strangely hairy, strangely looney distraction!

"THAT'S ALL, FOLKS!" After four years and nearly a hundred issues (don't quote us, we're not great at math), the era-defining run of Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti has reached its end! Where will Harley go from here? Who's coming with her? Is she gonna be…okay? Like, really? Because we're all a little worried about her…
