Straight Outta Themyscira and Barack/T'Challa T-Shirts From Amalgam Comics & Coffee

Once upon a time, I put out parody comic books such as The X-Flies, Civil Wardrobe and Watchmensch. I still have an irrational amount of fondness for them.

There's a special trick in creating unlicensed products that exactly reference the intellectual property so that all know what it's all about, but not actually doing anything that demands it be a licensed product – with all the costs and editorial control that might come with it. Parody is an excellent cover.

So while Warner Bros and Disney may not officially approve of the following T-Shirts created and sold by Philadelphia's Amalgam Comics & Coffee, there is nothing they can actually send the lawyers over. And you may find several of their corporate employees wearing them out and about.

Such as the following that reference Wonder Woman and Black Panther…. but in a way that they'd never approve of.
