Jon Favreau is Voicing a "Very Cool and Important Alien Character" in Solo: A Star Wars Story
Star Wars fans were a little confused when actor and director Jon Favreau posted a picture of himself with Solo: A Star Wars Story director Ron Howard and writer Lawrence Kasdan. There hadn't been any rumors about Favreau having a part in the next Star Wars stand alone movie and fans were understandably confused.
Twelve days later and we finally have some sort of explanation for that picture. Howard retweeted the picture today and revealed that Faveau is doing some voice over work for the movie. While he didn't reveal specifically who Favreau is voicing Howard does say that he is a "very cool and very important alien character".
We don't know that much about the various alien characters that will be in this movie. Thus far most of them have either been droids like L3, humanoid, or Chewie. Whether or not we'll find out who Favreau is voicing before the credits roll is unknown but I'm personally hoping it's this two headed dude that's playing sabacc with Lando.
As for whether or not Howard will be voicing anyone? Turns out not.
Too bad.
