Margaret Stohl and Carlos Pacheco Retell Carol Danvers Origins That "Change Everything" in The Life Of Captain Marvel #1 in July

Novelist Margaret Stohl is to write the Fresh Start relaunch, The Life Of Captain Marvel drawn by Carlos Pacheco, launching in July.

Disney's TV station ABC had the PR exclusive. With Stolh saying "I really wanted to be able to do this and go back in before her movie launches."

This comic will retell the character's origins, which were originally tied up with Kree warrior named Mar-Vell or Captain Marvel, turning this soldier into Ms Marvel, later Binary and then Captain Marvel.

And the stories will come from when,

crippling anxiety attacks put her on the sidelines in the middle of a fight…. Carol finds herself reliving memories of a life she thought was far behind her. You can't outrun where you're from — and sometimes, you HAVE to go home again. But there are skeletons in Captain Marvel's closet — and what she discovers will change her entire world.

Though they promise, not a complete reinvention, just a retelling… "the other side of the story, of how she came to be" which however, could "change everything."
