This time, it's CBS stepping up with three new drama series orders of the season that come with some serious "buzz" cred. First up, there's supernatural drama Evil from The Good Fight's Michelle King & Robert King, Dick Wolf's next franchise chapter FBI: Most Wanted, and legal drama All Rise (fka Courthouse) from writer Greg Spottiswood.
Now here's a look at the three new drama series:
Evil – A psychological mystery that examines science vs. religion and the origins of evil, Evil focuses on a skeptical female forensic psychologist who joins a priest-in-training and a carpenter to investigate and assess the Church's backlog of supposed miracles, demonic possessions and unexplained phenomena.
CBS Television Studios' Evil stars Katja Herbers, Mike Colter, Aasif Mandvi, Michael Emerson, Brooklyn Shuck, Skylar Gray, Maddy Crocco, and Dalya Knapp. Michelle King & Robert King write and executive produce, with Robert King also directing. Liz Glotzer also serves as executive producer.
FBI: Most Wanted – The series centers on the Fugitive Task Force of the FBI that tracks and captures the notorious criminals on the FBI's Most Wanted list.
Presented by Wolf Entertainment and Universal Television in association with CBS Television Studios, FBI: Most Wanted stars Julian McMahon, Alana de la Garza, Keisha Castle-Hughes, Kellan Lutz, Roxy Sternberg, and Nathaniel Arcand. Written by executive producers Dick Wolf and Rene Balcer, the project is directed by Fred Berner and also executive produced by Arthur W. Forney and Peter Jankowski.
All Rise – A drama that follows the dedicated, chaotic, hopeful, and sometimes absurd lives of judges, prosecutors, and public defenders as they work with bailiffs, clerks and cops to get justice for the people of Los Angeles amidst a flawed legal system.
From Warner Bros. Television in association with CBS Television Studios, All Rise stars Simone Missick, Wilson Bethel, Jessica Camacho, Marg Helgenberger, J. Alex Brinson, Lindsay Mendez, and Ruthie Ann Miles. Written by Greg Spottiswood and directed by Mike Robin, the series is executive produced by Spottiswood, Len Goldstein, and Mike Robin.
