Elite Comics Raise $22,000 For Children's Hospital Toy Drive

Last month, Bleeding Cool covered a story that saw Elite Comics of Overland Park, Kansas, running a Children's Mercy Hospital Toy Drive from their store, with a goal to raise $15,000 between Thanksgiving and Christmas to buy gifts for kids spending Christmas in Children's Mercy Hospital. The store tells us

Today is the last day of our toy drive and we have surpassed our goal of $15,000. We are, as of 11 am, at $22,000. That makes our 7 year total $104,000! We are going to Target tonight with fifteen cosplayers, Mr and Mrs Santa and a 24 foot truck to fill the wish lists of kids in the hospital over the holidays.

Congratulations all and a wonderful feeling of Christmas cheer in time for the holidays…
