920London: Furry Emo Romance in New OGN from Pervert Artist in April at Image

Image Comics has announced 920London, an original graphic novel by Remy Boydell, co-creator and artist of The Pervert and other works, hitting stores in April 2020. We're not likely to top the headline with anything we say here, so why don't we skip right to the press release.

PORTLAND, Ore. 10/17/2019 — The critically-acclaimed co-creator and artist of The Pervert, Remy Boydell, returns to Image Comics this April for sophomore graphic novel, 920London.

Boydell's early works include Tender Objects, Victim Pheromone, Death Paradise, and Recovery Blogger and followed by Boydell's debut graphic novel, co-created with Michelle Perez, The Pervert which was featured prominently in the award-winning comics magazine Island, included in Vulture/New York Magazine's "Best Comics of 2018" round-up list, and nominated for both a Los Angeles Times Book Prize and a Lambda Award. Publishers Weekly said of the book, "this collection of watercolor vignettes—some melancholy, some wryly funny—has a down-to-earth realism and humanity rare in comics about sex work."

In the forthcoming 920London, readers are introduced to a doomed romance between two emo kids, set in London in 2005. More than friends, less than lovers, they're trying to grow shrooms before the world ends.

920London original graphic novel (ISBN: 978-1-5343-1504-4) will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, April 22 and in bookstores on Tuesday, April 28. It can be pre-ordered with comic book shops and on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-a-Million, IndieBound, and Indigo.

920London will also be available for purchase across many digital platforms, including the official Image Comics iOS app, Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, comiXology, and Google Play.
