The Amazing Spider-Man #37 is in stores from Marvel Comics next week, by Nick Spencer and Ryan Ottley, and… *looks around to make sure no one is listening and then whispers*… we think we may finally be done with crossover tie-ins for the moment.

Yes, that's right, 2099 is over, and we can finally go back to moving along the actual regular story in this comic, with an issue aptly titles, "Time for a Change." If only Marvel would take that to heart when it comes to their obsession with non-stop event comics.

In any case, 2099 is over, but there are still repercussions to be dealt with.

For example, Spider-Man now has access to the world's most powerful magic 8-ball.

Would it be safe to use to solve his problems? It would make life a lot easier if you knew how everything was going to end up. Alas…

Yeah, another super-mega-crossover event. Clearly, the risk is too high.

Amazing Spider-Man #37 hits stores on Wednesday.
